Looks a lot like my Browning replica, a Grade I Carbine with a Williams Fool-Proof. Nice shooting piece, but that shotgun butt and metal buttplate will conspire to give your shoulder a wallop.

Yes, orginal Lyman 56 sight on Browning 71 (.348). Handloads are straight out of Handloader magazine, one issue that did a lot of work for loads for the Winchester/Browning 71. Have several and they are all real tight shooters.
