Calling all Neck Knives, show us your neckers!

The first, and probably last, neck knife I have ever worn. This thing sure is a cutter. I cannot imagine wearing another. This thing is always on my person, especially lounging around in a robe and PJs.

Funny what you said is actually why I decided to make this post. I got folders and bigger fixed blades I like more, but it's my necker that's always with me, though often carried on my belt.

My new Meyerco Necklance. Its just a cheap one but I'm surprised by the quality. I scored it on ebay for less than 5 bucks and it sure blows any $5 folders I've gotten out of the water. It's some sort of 440, hopefully C but who knows. Either way it came really sharp and for a light duty knife I think it should be fine even if the edge retention isn't great. I swapped the string for paracord because it was too stretchy, and added a little lanyard to the knife to give me a full grip. Even for a cheapy I think this will work well.

People only carry fixed blades around their neck? A bunch of small folders are very comfortable to wear around the neck.

I try to carry only fixed blades, period. They are just much stronger and more capable than a folder. I own folders and they have their place in my rotation. To me the knife that you will be forced to use in a survival situation is the knife that you have on you when you get into the situation. Hence, I always have a fixed blade on me. I rarely use my neck knife except to cut up an apple when in PJs and a robe or open mail when thusly dressed, but having a fixed blade on my person at all times is important to me. Would a small folder or a SAK be more comfortable? Yes. But it would not be more capable.

Here are my 3 so far

The top knife is a little mook by Shaerk knives here on the forum. It is 1095 steel with a nice dark patina and black micarta handle. This thing is a really beastly small knife.
OAL is 6.5"

The middle knife I just got in yesterday and it is a Fall Creek Necker. I has an S35VN acid washed blade with toxic green G10 liners and black G10 scales. The handle is incredibly smooth and comfortable. It has quickly become a favorite. OAL is 6.25"

The Small knife on the bottom is a Stone-wood neck knife. This one also has an S35VN blade and has copper liners/pins/lanyard tube with black micarta scales. The blade has been heavily acid etched so it has a very old weathered look. OAL is 3.5"

The next neck knife I want is a Bark River Bravo Necker. Several blade colors and tons of scale options but this one will have to wait.

Here are a few I made.First is a pipe hawk necker.

damacus blacksmith's knife

another damascus piece

damascus and ivory

carbon steel and antler

These are Izula, Enzo Necker, Gary Mills Pup, CKC Streamline. I tend to grab my Izula most of the time so I thought the Enzo Necker being so similar would be my next new fave but I was wrong, the Izula is easier to conceal due to the nice flat sheath, the Enzo necker sheath is a bit bulky in comparison to the izula but it is light as well. I Just love neck knives.

I've been on a slight neck knife kick.

Just picked this one up.
