Calling out all MOABs...

Thanks to Border Shift, I am now the proud owner of a MOAB, specifically with an Oliver Drab blade finish and Magnum Black Canvas Micarta handles. I decided to take a couple snapshots of this beast of a blade this morning:

Here’s an unusual version with snakeskin micarta showing the red layer revealed at the surface only in the forward areas of the handle slabs. Either that or Jerry decided to quench this particular blade by sinking it to the hilt in the jugular of a dragon, which of course would explain how the forward slabs became stained as they lay, staked hard against the shimmering, blood-soaked skin, while the quenching cycle was completed.

WOW! I've never been a fan of the smooth snakeskin, always having thought it looked better with a pattern like the raptor handles years back.

I gotta tell ya...that extra red hits the nail on the head.....those are BEAUTIFUL handles.

Those are beasts! Does anyone use them or just for show? No judgments here as I don't know if I could bring myself to use one either. They are amazing just to look at. Like how a Ferrari looks fast just sitting still.
