Calling out all OUTLAWS!

Seeing the more recent compilation threads I wanted to see how many of you had some Outlaws and wouldn't mind posting some pics. My two reasons for this post are:

(1) I have what I think to be the earlier handle design for the NO-E. More "blocky" you could say. I have heard the later versions were smoothed and slightly rounded so as to make a better fit and feel. It hasn't really bothered too much but I could imagine it could feel a tad more comfy with the later alterations. I havent decided whether to send it off to Garth to get a little work done, smooth it myself, or just leave it be.

(2) And the other reason for this post is because this is my favorite Busse thus far and I just love seeing pics of them. So feel free to post your Outlaws of any handle style or variations.

Here is my NO-E: Obtained from one of our own Hogs gimmiejr. Thanks again bro. :)

Note: I have added an SFNO pic from Bad MOJO and Specs from a search of the forum. Just to see the two and their specs together for comparison.

Thanks guys.

i HAD one... :grumpy:

Good thread, i look forward to seeing the pics of other NOs too.

Looks like the one I had. It's a hunk of knife for sure! I think it's my favorite Busse as well. I just love the E-series knives. One day when I'm a quadzillionare I will have them all!!!!

I'm sure you HOGs haven seen these NO's alot, but here are they again....:o

Great thread! The SFNO is the all around perfect knife IMO and the NOe is the only one of that series I care for, as far as cosmetics. Post em, Post em, Post em if ya got em. If you ain't got em, you hit rock bottom.:D
Roll those NOs out!;)

Those are some sweet looking blades so far guys. Really nice. And I love the variations. Does anyone have any Ergo Outlaws with modified handles?

I love the feel of the Ergos but I'd love to get my paws on an SF to try out those handles. ;)

Feel free to post any sheaths you have had made. I currently have the standard factory sheath but have a custom pair of pants on the way from LeatherHOG!

Keep them comming. I hope to add some action shots this weekend of mine.

P.S. : I have added the specs for my CG Ergo on my first post as well as a pic and specs for the SFNO for comparison. Please let me know if they are off.

That is AWESOME!!!
What are the details on it? An extraveganzzzza or a commisioned piece? That's one of the nicest I've ever seen. Thanks for showing it off!

I commissioned it with Jerry. Don't have any specs, but it is about 1/4" thick. I haven't seen any quite like it yet either...particularly the handle (which I might add fit my hand perfectly and it is very well balanced).

Wicked: didn't you do the handle mods on yours? Sweet. How did you take the handle fasteners off?

I need a ZTNO as well. :) Very ice.

Excuse the crappy pictures, but:

Nice bunch of the Desert Outlaw Over Runs!

I have a Desert Recurve, like the one on the far right. By far, the nicest balanced NO I have ever held. The blade is much narrower than the standard. Like between the Satin Jack and NO in terms of width. The butt grind makes it snappy. LOL

Mike,

Isn't one of those a Triple Ground?

The handle was modified by the pre owner. He sanded off the texture to get a smooth finish.
I removed the handle to give the blade an overall satin finish.
The tube fasteners can be easily drilled off with a 1/4" drill.
It is a regular NO-E and not a ZTNO.

Here are mine, the top and bottom are one of a kinds, the middle two there are less than 6 in existence
