Calling Out Dan (Lui Kang)

I dont think it has to do with hurt feelings at all but more of a feeling of a fool and his money are soon parted and it will be negative for Busse knives down the road.

There is a simple fix for this and that is to just stop buying from the resellers, let them buy all they want ;)
 
Dan's alright in my book he's helped me out several times and heck i've never met the man personally. He's sent his money to people to get the knife
i wanted and had them send it directly to me. While he trusted me to send my knife or knives to him.

Also its what do you say free enterprise. So if you have the cash more power to you i say. Plus if your looking for say a hard to find knife he'll try to locate one for you.
It may cost a little more but it'll save you some leg work and headaches in the end.
 
I say get a bottle of good scotch and drink to the guys willing to put their bread on the line so some of us can have knives. It's a free world and anyone can scrape up their change and jump in the car or on a plane and do the same thing if they want. Thank god for guys willing to do that and save me the trouble, time, and money.
 
As someone who can't typically travel to shows, I love the guys that go buy and resell here. Gives me the chance to get my hands on knives I wouldn't be able to have otherwise.

I don't mind paying them for their trouble.

I personally have no issue with you at all. I don't know why some knife collectors get so upset about resellers. :confused: Most collectors collect in order to resell at some point. Even if it's their family that's doing it (or using the services of an honest reseller like Dan) once they're gone. True hogs trample the weak and score by any means necessary. :thumbup:
 
I wanted to go to the show because i am in DFW and it was only 6 hours, but i didnt have the cash at the moment, but I would have spent $400-500 just on room, board, gas, food, so i am with you guys, it evens out if you have to spend $200-300 inflation for a knife on the forum, I know that the rad ones will be safe queens, but some are bound to show up on the forum, i am def. gonna save up for their vegas or blade show though and try not to gamble knife money away

Thanks, and thanks to everyone else for the nice words. I don't name names here but I'm always on a lookout for impossible to get stuff to help people complete their dreams. They may not have as many connections or know where to look so I try to help people along. But there are many stealth HOGS here that I know I have found certain knives for them and will keep looking for them till it is found. For everyone else, good luck with your search!
