Calling Watch Gurus!

What kind of work do you guys like done on a watch? I see Bill Yao does polishin, bead blasting, and domed crystals. What stuff makes your watch "better"?

Thor

I like the diferent dials and hands he offers. The orange SAT dial is nice. A domed sapphire crystal is preferable, to me, to the stock hardlex.

Jeremy, very nice pic--did you use a light box?

Paul, chronograph.com is a fine place to do business--I bought my first Seiko 5 through them. Since most of the Seiko line isn't available through US retailers, you pretty much have to go overseas to get "the good stuff".

Man oh Man, this thread just cost me 128.00 bones. A Seiko 007 is enroute to me. Thanks guys. :D
I just bought a Seiko 007 from a guy over at "The Seiko & Citizen Trade Forum" ($95, shipped Priority), and I can hardly wait to receive it!.:).

I picked up the SXA55K orange faced Seiko Automatic (more traditional) Diver from Chronograph.com. Beefy nice watch. DIffers from the SX007 and 009 in that the face has bullet-shaped markers instead of round and a blue and white chapter ring.

It was cheaper than the J (Japan) divers (it's a K meaning non-Japan). I say go for one! Chronograph is an excellent site with great service.
