black mamba i've kept my eyes open for lava lamp as i consider it the best i've seen. when considering acrylics one has to realize no two are alike. example you may have 10 burnt skys or dead skunks & all will differ in the same catagorey. let me say it clearer all acrylics are unique no 2 dead skunks are going to be identical. i have 4 dead skunks & the variation is pronounced.i like the idea that each knife is unique. another factor is when looking under a good light you may be able to see deep down into handle.another factor is i have'nt seen much replication of acrylic pattern & color. it looks like gec moves on & doe'nt repeat .if this is true it will cause the acrylics to increase in value. however as always i collect what i like without concern of future value.
 
I wish I could convince more than a few people to vote for acrylic scales for the yearly forum knife. those are some gorgeous knives.
