Caly 3.5 comparison

Love SuperBlue. I hope Spyderco keeps it alive. I think yours has a nice (natural looking) patina. All in all I think my ultimate Spyderco would be a Stretch in Superblue. However getting my hopes up for Spyderco to produce such a knife might be in vain.

I Hear ya,
been on eBay several years and other forums, I was directed to this forum by Deacon, and was told I could possibly find one (Caly3, VG-10/G-10 Handles) here..And He Was Right!:triumphant: Picked up a NIB Caly3 Combo Blade and scales I wanted & Had been Searching for..
Bought it from Spyken (James), All Though it Traveled here from Singapore, Was here and through Customs at my door in 10 days, Mint!.. Love It!, Almost afraid to put it in my Pocket as its new and discontinued, Uggggg.. Anywayzzzzz

Sorry, but they are not for sale. I bought the spare a few years ago when i learned that they were going to be discontinued. Don't feel bad or feel that you are the only one not to get a certain Spyderco you wanted. This is how this business works. They make a knife for so many years and if the demand goes down or the manufacturing space is needed for a new model, they discontinue the model. To get a old Spyderco you have to be very patient and watch Ebay like a hawk. This forum might have a "Wanted" section that you can post that you are looking for a Caly 3. I and many others have been in your boat on more then one occasion. I looked for a good C44 for years and had to pay a premium when i found it. If you watch this forum and the Spyderco site forum, you will be able to catch the discontinued list at the end of each year. If a knife on the list is something you want, and has been popular through the years, better make sure to get one right away. good luck in your hunt.
