Caly 3.5 Size Comparison Pics

One of my first thoughts when I saw the new Caly was that the handle was narrow.
Can anyone comment of how the knife feels in your hand??

Thanks Dorfinator!! Nice herd you have there. I'd really be interested in your opinion of feel of the handles Para 2 vs Caly 3.5, thanks a lot!!

I haven't handled or carried the Caly 3.5 other taking it out of the box, looking over it for any defects and taking the photos.

However, I have been carrying the Para 2 until I got my Starmate. That's been seeing pocket time this week.

I do like the Caly 3.5 better than the Caly 3 as I've become a fan of the longer blade 3.5 - 4 inches, i.e., Stretch II, Para 2, Starmate, Chowke, Military, etc. It does fit my hand better than my Caly 3.

Plus I prefer my Sage I CF to my Caly 3 G-10.

Feels great. Very comfortable.
Love mine. It is like holding Caly3, but blade is much bigger. Very good grip and knife is gorgeous. Didn't cut anything yet, except my finger :o I think, it's the love). I love fairly narrow blade and handle. I am very happy with return of Caly to production. This beauty certainly will be in rotation as my primary EDC. Monday Caly3.5 will in my RFP and Caly3 in my LFP
I hope sale will be good. Just cannot wait for bolstered Cocobolo variant.
Tomorrow is yard day, let's do some cutting. :):)

So much for my hope that the Para2 might be the last Spyderco I buy :(

Ha ha, I said that exact same thing, some 40 Spydies ago. You need to get a paper route just for Spydie money. :p

I got one last week and simply love the size:thumbup: So much so, it's knocked my 3" XM-18 out of my pocket.
Thanks Sal&crew!

I take it that Staminawood is something like Dymondwood and Pakkawood. Is that correct?

It is the same thing as Dymondwood, and comes in a very large variety of colors. I have an Mcusta with Staminawood handles - very nice stuff, and looks good. It feels like Micarta to the touch, but looks very different.
