I ground down the finger Choil lump on the handle .

I'm a big fan of the CF Caly 3.5. After owning and selling at least a dozen Spyderco folders I've settled on 3 (plus a Salt 1) that I find myself returning to again and again in in various sprint and exclusive forms. The Stretch, the Caly 3.5, and the Para 2. Can't say which is truly my favorite, I'm just glad I don't have to choose between them!
 
I have really gravitated to smaller Spydercos but the largest in my modest collection is a Caly 3.5 and it will never leave. It was a gift from my Dad. It is such a great EDC, almost a Delica handle with almost an Endura blade, and battle proven to stop a mountain lion attack!
 
Nice call. I've had the 3.5 Caly in ZDP, VG10 and in SB, and all are nice. I've had several Stretch models, but never connected with them and sold them rather quickly. The 3.5 in ZDP is my favorite Caly.

I actually prefer the Caly 3 a bit more than the 3.5. But I am also a big fan of the Stretch. Two of my all time favorites. If you ever spend much time using a Mule, I think you would automatically enjoy the Stretch.
 
Got the knife really enjoying it. I did sand the liners and the edges of the handles, just to give it alittle better feel in the hand. Love the ergos and it slices like a laser.

without of doubts Caly3.5 is the beauty queen (i do not think that Calys are the knives, which were designed in the dark :))
In addition to that, Caly 3.5 is the one of the best production EDC knives. I carry VG10 variant for several years and love it.
