Caly 3.5 ?

Any idea when we can expect the release of the spyderco caly 3.5?

Yeah man, I'm really excited for this knife as I believe the caly 3 is about the best edc knife you can buy. I prefer at least a 3.5 inch blade and the addition of a lanyard hole to the design makes it darn near perfect.
 
I couldn't tell from the video, but is this model put together with screws or rivets on the scales? Either way, I am looking forward to getting one.

I have 3 Caly's and love them but I am all about this new design. It looks like rivets still, would love to see screws.
 
Looking forward to this too. After PPT disappointment, it's going to boil down to Caly3.5, Stretch or Manix 2.
 
The Caly 3.5 is not in the mid-year's catalog update. Does it mean it won't be released this year?

I cannot wait to put my hand on one of them. My Persian already feels coming competition for the place in my pocket. Hopefully will get Native4 before this.

The Caly 3.5 will retire many knives in my collection.

What exactly is the disappointment with the PPT? If like most you're refering to the weight, well it weighs practically the same as the Manix 2, the blades on both knives are almost the same length. I have a PPT and the weight is not a bother at all.
 
No...me being left-handed. The Deacon sums up most of my complaints (except the lowride clip, which I actually love)

If it came in a back lock I would be all over it.

Heck, even if it were a Slipit I'd probably be all over it. Great design, just not ambi.
 
Caly 3.5 is out. Somebody bought it at SFO, few dealers posted as well.
It is time to get it. I certainly will.
 
Although I own a couple now and have never had an issue with Spyderco pinned construction, I'm passing for that reason. Frivolous or not, that's why.

Yep, saw the video on SpydieGuys YouTube channel yesterday for the Caly3.5. Looks really nice but I'm gonna hold off for a while since I've already got 2 of the Caly3 G10/VG10 models. First I'd like to get the Para2, GITD Manix2 EDC Forum knife and tops on the list is the ESEE DPx HEST Folder.
 
Been waiting for this one. First the PPT then the Para II and at last the 3.5 Caly. What a year for Spyderco!
