Caly 3.5 ?

I like it a lot and would get one if I didn't have the Caly 3 G-10. It's too similar to justify the 3.5.

They look similar, but extra half an inch for blade and handle will make big difference in cutting and ergos. Persian-Mini Persian, Dragonfly-Caly3, Delica -Endura look similar, cutting different. I have several Caly3 and will get Caly3.5 sometimes next week and probably will buy more later.

I'm pretty sure the scales are pinned with a screw pivot. Not a total deal killer for me but it's just not compelling enough for me to go for the pinned scales. I have a pretty large preorder list of other new knives coming to keep me satisfied anyway.

I'd be very pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be all screw construction but, unless and until someone who owns one posts otherwise or I get mine and find otherwise for myself, I'm thinking the same thing as you.

Are there ZDP/Carbon Fiber plans for the Caly 3.5? Or anything other than black G10/VG-10? Don't get me wrong, I really want a 3.5, but if there's other variants coming soon, I might have to wait for that instead.

With Spyderco everything is possible, but not right away. If sale of VG10/G10 will be good, than more likely Spyderco would make CF/ZDP. So if you want CF/ZDP, you need to buy G10/VG10 :D
