Caly 3, UKPK clip....Dodo?

ok so I was wondering if the caly 3, ukpk clip are the same..Im pretty sure these two are..but what about the dodo lets throw that in. I have one coming my way soon and was wanting to know if i can order a ukpk or caly 3 clip to put on the dodo. I Like the way the ukpk/caly3 clip looks. Its a darker, more of a rustish color if you will lol. and I want to put one on my dodo. Can I do this? will it work, and how hard is it to take the clip of the dodo

Looks like it'll fit but it will make your Dodo ride REAL low. I like low riders but in the case of the Dodo, I think it may become difficult to get it out of your pocket.

thanks ken, and idk if Im allowed to post pics up over here..or i just cant figure it out. but for sure will on the spyderco forum and i believe I've seen you there lol. So here in a couple weeks ill post. need to order the clip tomorrow and get the money sent off for the dodo. I got a bit ahead of myself!

Easy enough. Just use a service like Photobucket and copy the tag line. I have no idea what I'm doing but I can do THAT:D:thumbup:

Yeah, I'm on Spyderco's forum too. They are a great company and I own and use a LOT of their knives!

Ken summed it up with the low ride comment. If you like it that low, that works, but the dodo is a wider knife. Might have some trouble getting it in and out of pocket.

The Spyderco wire clips are pretty much interchangeable as long as they use the slots, not the chicago screws like on the D'Allara dna Native 3.

It should work. I haven't tried the Dodo specifically but I did switch the Sage's clip to my Pikal. I thought it made both knives look better, made the Sage feel better in hand and I like how the Pikal carries this way.
