Caly 3 Vs Stretch

I thought more people would be recommending the Sage?
Why would that surprise you after the OP pointed out early on in this thread that he is not a fan of liner locks?

Yes, but he did not rule them out, he said he is not crazy about them. Maybe he might consider them if there were many positive recommendations...
 
Well, even though liner locks are generally not my first choice, i can appreciate a quality one. I carried a military for a few months and the lock was just great... I guess the reason why the military did not get more pocket time is the clip set up for tip down carry. I understand the reasons behind the choice, and spyderdrops are easier, but i am just too used to tip up carry... Spydercos are always well engineered and for me they have without any doubt the best quality/price ratio. Climbing up the ladder i see that increments in quality gets smaller, and price is exponentially highier.

Sorry for the digression.
 
I own all three, the CF Stretch, Sage 1 and Cally ZDP. The best knife in the bunch is the Stretch. The most carry time is the Sage.
