Hi Camillus group... What little I have used this forum, I've gotten good results. Just a question about a couple of old Camco toothpicks I have... The black 'pryo-something' handles, single blade which is a combo clip/scaler/bottle opener, with the thumb-liner lock. When built? Does Camillus still make the budget-priced 'Camco' line?

The Camco line is no longer made. As far as when and how many, we'll leave that question for Tom Williams!

Thanks, Cheryl. By the way, I did some business this morning at C&R... Good prices and reasonable shipping. But hey... you seemed to have forgotten those all-too commmon and pesky 'handling charges'.

Camillus introduced the CAMCO line in 1948.
Many of the early CAMCO knives included The Lone Ranger knife (1949), Dick Tracy knife (1950), Camp-Glo knife, SPOOK knife and others like the key knife. I have several older CAMCO catalogs and if you would like copies, without charge, just e-mail me your postal mailing address. We did make a 5" closed, black stag plastic handled knife that sounds like what you described during the early 1950's.
