Handles are Green Canvas Micarta over a Titanium Frame.
This is a very solid little flipper. It's got a great action requiring no wrist movement what-so-ever to quickly and solidly lock into open position. It features an incredibly well executed hybrid grind. It rides on the IKBS Ball Bearing Pivot System and has an early lockup.

Condition Note: 95% as received from Mr. Clark. The edge appears in original / unsharpened condition. There are a few light rub marks / "scratches" on the blade (presumably from inserting the knife in and out of the sheath). This knife comes with the original sheath as well that is in around 90% condition.

This beautiful balisong features 6AL4V Titanium Handles anodized in a Royal Blue coloration. The titanium handles glide on the S.S. blade riding on a caged S.S. Ball Bearing Pivot System. This knife is one of the first that Craig employed a Removable Pocket Clip and an Adjustable Spring Latch on. A great piece of functional art for the collector and flipper alike.

Each Ruana blade is made from high carbon steel that is hammer forged, hollow ground, individually oil quenched, and heat treated using a zone tempering method that makes the spine of the blade a little softer than the cutting edge.
All Ruana knives are made from tough cast aluminum handles with elk antler inserts and come with a high quality sheath.
This vintage Ruana knife was made from 1962 - 1983 while Rudy Ruana was still with Ruana Knife Works. This is a non-catalog knife that is a smaller version of the Ruana Model 12 A. It is great for smaller hands."
Condition Note: Approximately 90% as received. It's quite impressive the shape this knife is in for as old as it is. It appears to be the original edge, though it could use a sharpening.... That said, this is an old knife. There is a small speckle of 'pitting' on the side of the blade on it's presentation side, as shown in the pics.
