I've been finding some decent knives lately, and will give you guys first shot at the ones that don't fit my collection. The only thing I've done to these is added a little oil and wiped off the grime.
First up is this old Camillius Sleeveboard Pen knife. Both blades are whole and only slightly worn. It can easily be cleaned up; there's still some of the original finish showing on the blades. The larger blade wants to rub on the small one, but both still have snap. Really nice jigged bone scales with no cracks. Minor shrinking showing at the bolsters. $40 shipped.
Here's a Hammer Brand utility knife in an unusual silver-grey color. The scales are overlay on a shell, no rips or tears. The blades have been used but still show the original finish. No rust or heavy pitting anywhere. Blades are tight with barely noticeable wiggle on the main blade when open. $20 Shipped.
Next is this beautiful Camillius Electrician's Knife. It appears un-used, and was stiff as heck until it had an oil bath. Very minor spotting; will clean up easy. Even the bail is tight. SOLD.
This Gutman Melon Tester has beautiful mother of pearl scales that show a little shinkage at the nickel silver bolsters. Brass liners and a high polished Soligen Rostfrei blade. The blade tends towards one side, but doesn't rub. It's tight with no play when open, and has plenty of snap. $55 shipped.
Last I have this red knife, a trapper pattern with a punch. It's 4.5" closed, and well made although I can't find a manufacturer name anywhere. The scales are plastic and have a couple rub spots and minor shrinkage, the clip blade has no snap left, but the other two are strong. It has brass liners, and nickel silver bolsters. It's been used, but the blades ar still close to the original profile. $20 shipped.
I prefer Paypal, but will work with you if you don't have that service. Shipping will be USPS confirmed delivery.
