Camillus 710 single blade peanut giveaway

I came across a Camillus 710 single blade peanut a couple weeks ago after my sleep study. I was planning on getting another yeller Case peanut at Cabelas to give away, but decided this one might be more interesting. I need to share pics, but this is for a model 710 peanut in box with black delrin handles. This giveaway is for Traditional members that do not yet have a peanut, or for Cult of the Peanut members to gift to family or friends without a peanut.

I will run this for a week, please say I'm in, and please share a picture of anything made by Camillus. Camillus, Buck 3xx series made by Camillus, Remington made by Camillus, Cold Steel made by Camillus, Made in USA old knives made by Camillus. 4 line, 3 line. Any of the Camillus precursors, like Kastor etc. Anything that has to do with Camillus, if you don't have a knife, post something you find online. Traditional of course. One entry per person please. I will pick a post number next Monday.

No Peanut here, but surely interested in giving one a try. I'm in, and thanks so much for the generous giveaway! The old line does come into mind, though: "The first one's always free..."

I had one just like this as a kid and Cub Scout. I wish I knew where it was now.

 
I'm in.....I must admit I've given JK a hard time about his love affair with the peanut. I like a large stockman! Figgured I would enter this giveaway...

I Happened onto this old Camillus Scout several months back and need to get it re-covered as the original celluloid covers have gassed out and shrunk. I got some slabs of honey brown buffalo horn that I'm thinking will look good on this. Now to find time to send it off.

Here is one of my Camillus knives. It is a small stockman and it is a nicely made item. No idea about a pattern number or anything like that.

 
I'm in, never been a huge fan of tiny pocketknives but the love of the peanut on the forums has gotten me very curious! Here's my favorite Camillus, and favorite slip joint of all for that matter, the Camillus/Buck 307

 
Traditional knives only in the Traditional Forum.
If you do not have a traditional knife made by Camillus, the OP has said that you can use a pic you borrow from the net.
 
I'm in. I've been wondering about the peanut for a while.

It's not my picture, but I have a real fondness for the old Camillus Scout Knives

By coincidence, I have my Ka-Bar Peanut in my pocket today, which I believe was made by Camillus. It was gifted to me by Pete Stich some years back :)

I had a one exactly like that without the bail loop when I was in Boy Scouts and I lost it. Drives me crazy to this day.

If I'm eligible, I'm in...I'm usually a larger than 3.5" knife guy, but I've been wanting to try out a peanut for a while. Cool giveaway! Thanks for doing it, even if I'm not eligible!

Not an entry, because I have too many peanuts already. Great idea for spreading the cult, though- thanks for doing the GAW.
 
Not an entry; I have a perfectly good peanut already (that I won in a GAW by Cory Hess last August).
But thanks for your generosity in running this GAW, Dan, and good luck to all the entrants! :thumbup::thumbup:

My only Camillus that I'm sure IS a real Camillus is a surplus 1760 "Demo" knife I have in Idaho.
It is not as nice as the knives shown, so "not an entry". (I can't get pictures to post/link, either)

So did I - same knife! And I also wonder where it is. I keep hoping it'll turn up in a box in the attic some day.

I used to proudly wear to elementary school, clipped by it's bail on my uniform belt! Nowdays a kid would be taken down by a SWAT team if he showed up to school like that.
