Camillus 710 single blade peanut giveaway

So did I - same knife! And I also wonder where it is. I keep hoping it'll turn up in a box in the attic some day.

I used to proudly wear to elementary school, clipped by it's bail on my uniform belt! Nowdays a kid would be taken down by a SWAT team if he showed up to school like that.

Ha ha, that's correct! We live in a very different world from the one we knew, that's for sure. I grew up near NYC in an urban environment, and even there a kid with a pocket knife was never seen as any kind of problem or threat, especially if wearing the honored uniform of the CS of A.

One of these got converted into a single blade, the other was given to my brother in law before he went to Afghanistan.

Great giveaway. I was just asking about who makes a single blade peanut over in the Great Peanut Thread.

Hi there!

Still a very recent member, maybe I'm not elegible to participate. Still, I just want to say I love the electrician knives from Camillus.

(Hope I'm doing this right...)

Cheers!

I'm in. I just picked this old whittler up a couple days ago.

I have been wanting to try a peanut lately.

Like I said yesterday, I'm bowled over to win this giveaway! It'll be my first a) Camillus, b) peanut, and c) Delrin-handled knife. All three characteristics of the prize are objects of curiosity for me! So thanks again to the Grand High Muckba of the Cult of the Peanut for the generous giveaway. Does taking possession of this specimen imply membership, he wonders?

Our crew will be along shortly to escort you to the local inner sanctum of the Cult. There you shall be initiated.
