Thanks! I don’t think i’ve ever seen one like this before. I wonder how many are out there.Looks good, and genuine to me! Though I'm not a historical expert.
The 7 is nicely balanced with the skeletonized tang. I think you've got a great score there.
Thanks dude!Ill have to double check, but Im pretty sure mine is skeletonized. It was bought at the end of Camillus having them at Sportmans Warehouse…Ill take the handle off and post what I find later.
I’m not sure.I thought the BK2 was the only solid tang model when Kabar acquired the production rights.

I believe the first run of KABAR Campanion’s did have solid tangs and used 1/4” steel and were heavy. Camillus did not use 1/4” steel on there 2s. The Camillus Campanion 2s are all solid tangs .I’m not sure.
I have seen some solid tang kabar bk2 though.
Awesome! This is a BK-9 blank that I picked up after Camillus closed.

Took years to find someone to finish it, how it looks now.

That is correct. The Blackjack era 2's were .250, but Camillus era 2's were .188-.210. 1st generation KA-BARS were .250, with solid tang. The 2nd generation 2's were the start of the skeleton tang 2's, also .250.I believe the first run of KABAR Campanion’s did have solid tangs and used 1/4” steel and were heavy.
