The one I had was solidly in the middle of the run and was skeletonized. I had it for many years before the switch to Kabar.

That is so interesting!
When I hear discussion about the solid vs. skeleton tang versions people always suggest to find a camillus version as if they are all solid.
 
What about the early Blackjack versions? We're they all solid or were they skeletonized?

Wow I never knew the Camillus BK2 was only 3/16 thick. That’s interesting.
And coincidentally, I just snagged a Gen 1 Kabar BK2 with the solid tang on eBay 👍👍
