Camillus-made Fisk/O.V.B. Bowie blade blank - $50. Sold & shipped to rwskaggs; feedback left All that's needed is a handle, guard, final edge, and polishing. These are #0170-6C (aka Cold Steel's Carbon V), so they're a notch above regular carbon steels.
Camillus blade blanks, lot of 16 - $40. Sold & shipped to yarcher; feedback left There are several brands represented here - Western, Cold Steel, Schrade, Colt and Remington. All are in various states of completion, from plain blanks with no stampings or heat treat, to a couple that just need handle scales to become functional knives. No sheaths for any f these.

These 17 blade blanks are from Camillus, from the bankruptcy auction in 2007. Apparently these were bought up by SMKW and later sold in groups of six or eight, with some of the more well-known types sold individually - O.V.B. Fisk/Bowie, USAF Pilot's Survival knife, Camillus-made USMC Combat/Utility. All are various stages of completion, some are simple blanks with no markings, and in some cases they're just in need of handle scales to be a useable knife.
I bought these to make handles for them, and to learn leather sheath-making, but I'm going back to work full time, and I have too many other "irons in the fire", so to speak. And the O.V.B. Fisk/Bowie, as awesome as it is, will never get carried by me - it's just too big.
I had these all stored in a velvet utensil roll, that was supposed to prevent tarnish, but apparently it doesn't work for carbon steel. There are a few rust spots here & there, but I'll have them removed with copper wool by tonight.
