here is the brute I will be getting. it is gonna be mail off to me along with my becker bk mix.

If you've never held one, you'll be surprised at how small that bad boy is. I've never owned one myself, but have messed with a few, they have a lot of potential. Good score!
 
Damn.....I wish I had a brute. The machax and 9 will have to suffice till next year.

Congrats man!!! One of my must have but can't afford knives.:D
 
I REALLY hope the new one has an extended tang. I actually have used them on way more than one occasion.
 
My Brute is finally here and in my hand... All I have to say is WOW... this baby is thick! here she is posing in the nude!!

congrats on the brute, but i'm sorry she seems to have been stripped and her collectable status is nil :)

she might be stripped and collectable status is nil but I finally got one one, after hunting down a brute and bk 10, I finally got them both took me awhile. I take what is offered if I can't find mint. I was thinking about force patina with vinegar... to get that blackish look..

i'd suggest sending it out for professional coating - it's worth it! hard phosphate!

i'd consider ceracoat for "paint", and we've plenty of duracoaters...

but for "exotics", Ethan "knows a guy". Toooj might have some pointers, but sadly, i do not at this time. i have something i want to coat though, so i'll get a "round tuit" :)
 
so I am gonna go with this guy, he makes a really cool skull pattern but I am gonna have him make me a snake skin pattern.

so the guy i was going to ask to dura coat my brute fell thru, anybody have any idea or contact to refinish my brute?
 
They were supposed to be released again, but Moose posted last week that the plans for that were scrapped.
