I wanted to get one of these a few years ago but procrastinated and suddenly Camillus was no more. I found one on the secondary market this month and snapped it up. This is a Terzoula design and for a non-assisted opening knife it is very fast. You simply push the button forward and it cams the blade open with authority. It is a liner lock and mine engages completely. The blade is 2 3/4 inches and made of AUS-8, one of my favorite steels, scales are black g-10, liners and clip are stainless. The blade carries a mirror polish and the G-10 scale are finely checkered. This is a very slick knife. Weighing in at 3.6 ounces it is an easy carry as well. Everything is held together with stainless torx screws, easy to disassemble for cleaning and even has a lanyard hole. The blade design is another favorite of mine, the spear point with false top edge is just plain handsome as well as functional. This was one of the last designs Camillus introduced...I am glad I found one for myself...:D

I hope Camillus got permission to make this knife....oh my! ;)

I have one of these and although I consider it a pretty nice knife I have two points to make per your post. One is that nowhere on the knife or in the box it came in is there a mention of the steel makeup, two the blade is marked P.R.C. for People's Republic of China. AUS-8 is a Japanese steel that is not normally available in the PRC.
