The Camillus Collectors Club is now up and running. Membership includes a newsletter published quarterly with knife related articles and free classified ads, opportunity to purchase the annual Club Knife, Club Merchandise Offerings and support for Camillus collectors.

The annual dues are $12.00 per year or $100.00 for a Lifetime Membership.

I am thrilled that the collectors club is now a reality and under the supervision of two really good people.
Now tell me more. Will there be a knife for regular members and a knife for life members,a knife for junior members?
This aferrnoon I emailed for a application but I just want to know all of my options.
Again I'm thrilled.

hmmmm...I may have to join this!!! I have to admit I was soured with camillus for a while over production quality issues, but Will, awhile back, helped me put it to rest.

Im going to seriously consider this!!!

Since I am a Camillus fan I have passed out applications to the Knife nuts at work and most of them had a high degree of interest. Time will tell.

Yesterday brought the first mailing from the Camillus Collectors Club.
Included was "The Camillus Connection",Special offer to new members,membership card,letter from the club president,and a Camillus/Western catalog with price list. Overall a very good start IMHO.

Just a quick note to all CCC Members (and those that are thinking about joining) to let you know that we JUST got the Proto-type Annual Club Knife made. I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet but I think it came out great!!!! So we'll be putting the finishing touches on the newsletter and including the ordering information for the knife very soon. Hope you're as excited as I am.
 
OK lets stir the pot a little bit !

I was just wondering how many members does the Camillus Collectors Club have at this point ?

I get the Blade magazine and Knives Illustrated and have not come across any ads promoting the club. Since I do not subscribe to Knife World or the NKCA magazine I don't know if there have been any mention of the club in them. When I joined the Case Collectors Club some 20+ years ago I got the info from Knife world.

Next,It is early November and I still have not heard anything about a Club knife. Will there be a 2003 Camillus Collectors Club knife ?

The newsletter is finally at the printer's. We hope to have them mailed out by Friday - Monday at the latest. On the back two pages are all of the information about ordering this year's club knife.

Currently, we advertise in Knife World and do various other promotional spots. We are exploring some options for the new year.
 
Just received the new member packet in the mail today, frankly not too impressed as of yet. I joined on the promise of some high quality bone handled traditional patterns that Camillus "used" to be known for. The offerings in the packet are for a stainless steel handled members knife and the same old same old. Will the Camillus Collectors Club be offering a bone handled traditional patterned club knife as promised?

I guess you missed last years club knife. It was bone handled and it was a beauty.

The annual club offering will ALWAYS be at least bone handled or stag handled. The metal handled knife offered is for carrying mainly. We are just now starting to talk about this year's club knife which is planned for the fall. I anticipate this year's knife to be as well received as last years.
 
That's AWESOME news! VERY happy to hear. I'm a new member, so yes I did miss the last one, unfortunate for me. Really looking forward to seeing what you offer for this year. Can't thank you guys enough for starting to take pocketknives serious again, and beginning to build some high end collectable material.

Well I took the plunge and signed up for the Camillus Club!
I also entered my two sons as junior members as they both love knives!
I hope that I am not too late for the club knives this year lol
