What knife do you guys think is worth more or easier to sell on the forums of on Ebay. The camillus CQB-1 or the BM-710? I don't think they are makeing the camillus anymore. I have and oppertunity to have either one of those knives for the same price 130$ and I allready have both so I want to sell the new one I get, So wich one should I choose?

but the CQB-1 is the Terzuola colaberation with the blade tech kydex sheath. The the out dated marine combat knife or anyhting. I'm just saying I can get them both for the same price so wich one will be worth more in re-sell, either right away or in the future.

I don't understand, exactly - a new 710D2 can be had
for less than $130.00; about $110.00.

I'll go for the BM710. As for the price being less than $130.00 web stores have lower overhead and can pass the savings on to the customer.

I'm saying, I can get either one, for between 115$ and 130$. I want to sell it. so wich one could I sell for more? I think the camillus. I saw it on ebay. the cheapest I saw it for was 150$ or 160$. and I don't think they are makeing them anymore. and I think you answered my question by saying I can get the 710 for 110$ so.... I get the camillus for 130$ and sell it for 160$ or wait till they are gone and sell it for even more.lots of people on here have said it was their favorite knife,or favorite fixed blade. I don't need to keep either one. I allready have mulitples of both.Basicly I was asking wich one had more re-sell value.

I think the 710 is an easier sale on ebay, and will sell for a price you
can pretty well bet on.

The Camillus will sell, for sure, but the range of selling prices will be
greater IMO. I've seen them go for high prices around Christmas - around
125.00; now though they seem to be going for around 80.00.

So I'd go with the 710. If you're into shooting craps, go with the CUDA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the price you are buying them for is not much different than the price you will be getting on the market when you sell it? I have the CQB-1 and I would never pay anything close to $160 for one - in fact, rifon2's mention of $80 seems more like what it's worth. I could see going through the trouble to buy and sell it if you were going to make $25 profit, or if you needed to sell a blade you already have to make some cash. But spending $115 - $130 on a knife that you can sell for (maybe) the same price seems counterproductive.

Every site I see the CQB-1 on it's 150-160 and I don't think they will be makeing it any more. Over christmas it was on ebay for 200. I saw what you guys are talking about the 80$, but that was the first bid. as of right now there is 2 on there. The buy now price for 1 is 150 the other is 173. The old gryphon m30A1 is 220. I think the price for the CQB-1 will go up sinc they aren't makeing them anymore. The BM-710,it would be nice to have a new one,it's satin M2. And I'd like to keep it but it would be nice to beable to sell it real quick too.The BM price will stay about the same for years and years cuz thats a popular model and they'll keep makeing it. Like a spyderco endura just higher class. I don't know. But I xcan get either for 115$ now so....

I don't understand if you have these knives already why you are buying another one to sell.

Selling knives bought at ordinary retail prices is no way to make money commensurate with the effort.
Having seen a few go for a bit more than you would pay does not guarantee those prices for yours.

You will pay fees and shipping charges when you sell, and your profit will be pennies per hour of effort.

Not that I'm trying to discourage you! :D
It might even be fun working through the process,
and good practice for on down the line when you might have more to sell under surer circumstances.

And where did you see a CQB-1 for 80$? tell me now and I'll buy 5!!! And I think 150 is well worth it. It's an awesome knife.Maybe you saw the black coated CQB dark ops knives for 80$. or MAYBE the CQB-jr. but I doubt it. But not the 154CM ,full sized, with blade tech kydex sheath, and tech lok for for 80$

Well ......this is all about aquiring cool knives to play with for awhile, and saying to my Wife, Look Baby, I can resell this for X amount of dollars. didn't I mention that? Then maybe never getting around to selling it, But being able to justify my purchase.

Think Benchmade makes better collectables because of a large youthful following.
Camillus is better known for making other peoples knives better than theirs! Or maybe that just a case of a higher QC standard by the other parties.
