Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5 bowie serial numbers?

I recently purchased a cuda maxx 5.5 and when i got it home i realized that it had a serial number engraved above the logo. Did they ever do a limited run of them? or is mine just an early production?
I hope this is the right place to post this as its a DR collaboration.

The 5.5 had about 2000 ran.

The 7 had 150.

Both are hard to get.

We are making 7 inch

The 4 and 3 have NEVER been a semi production .

They will be shipping soon.

The 7 is this fall.
 
Also, the first run of CUDA Maxx with the thicker .150 Ti handles was actually made in his shop. The thinner .125" handle were made by Camillus.
