Camillus era type of steel

You guys don't need me around, you are getting it done.

Before getting on BF, I had just written David an email on the SMKWs model and left out the Barlows. Thanks Roger

So now I will say to David and everyone, Rogers post is dead on.

With Camillus demise and passing of a couple of the major information keepers some Camillus knowledge may never be known. The interplay between Buck, SMKWs and Camillus is twisted almost to mystery writer intrigue level. Anyone who has a collections of all the models mentioned by Roger has a rare grouping. It is now a difficult group to collect.

I am staying out of the steel talk, I have seen several S-cards and sat and talked with some Camillus guys at the Blade Show.
I think Bear Claw is the closest to the 100% for certain truth. "What ever was cheapest"

PS There were at least 11 versions of those SMKWs Bucks.

Still, this is more information than we've had.
Bryan, you are sooo getting your money's worth out of this. Every knowledgeable Buck collector I know is writing in on this. DM

I just found out that those s-cards became obsolete in 1988. After that date, all Camillus records of this nature went to being entered in to a computer data bank. So, if you have one or a copy of one, -- your lucky. DM

Some of the old Camillus/Schrade folks have a few S-cards. I believe Codger has some Schrade cards and I believe Tom Williams, who recently passed away, had quite a few of the Camillus cards. Tom, was good for Cami details.

300Bucks, you forgot to mention Phil Gibbs. He has been a wealth of information.
