Camillus "high carbon" blanks, worth playing with?

Just curious if anyone knows what type of steel this might be, and if it would be worth playing with. I am new to the making game and these seem like they might give me a good beginner project. But, if the steel is junk then I might pass.

IIRC correctly, Camillus used 1080 for their high carbon blades.
Check one of the factory sites and ask.
