I've been looking for a Camillus CUDA Maxx for awhile now.As most of you know, Camillus workers have been on strike for a long time so all the dealers I've contacted are out of them. A dealer showed up on Ebay today with 2 available. I wanted a plain blade but these are serrated. I didn't know when another my become available again so I jumped on one of them.

The point of all this is to let anyone know that is also looking for one, that there is one left on Ebay. Just trying to help someone out, if anyone is looking. I hear it's a great knife and wanted one for my collection.

I plan to have a custom "friction" style sheath made for it so my carry options are expanded. I have 2 of those style sheaths made by a leathersmith in Canda for a couple of my other large knives and I love them (Manix and Ruckus).

Good score. Plain blade AND and a good price. Can't beat that. I'm stuck with the serrations since I already paid for it. When Camillus gets going again, maybe I'll sell it and grab a plain blade. Who knows, maybe I'll like it better. With a 5.5" blade, there's still plenty or non-serrated blade. Should be here in a couple of days so guess I'll find out. Enjoy yours, gzb!!

After looking around at prices all over the place and looking at the general state of the camillus labor dispute, I bought the other one. I think I'm going to like it. If not someone around here will get a good deal...
