camillus roughcut stockman??

Sunnyd, Schrade had some knives with the same "issue" before their demise, I have a 34ot that has 2 carbon blades and 1 stainless. Joe

Joe,

I had never heard that prior to this.. Would you mind emailing(or posting here) me with these models and or any additional information about this situation you can provide..

Best Always,
Anthony

Anthony, I don't honestly know too much about the "mixed bladed" Schrades. I purchased the one I have right after Schrade went out of business in the summer of 2004. It came in a blue and tan box. I was wrong it has stainless spey and sheepsfoot blades, and a carbon clip. I had no idea any thing was different until I began to carry it. I also have at least one 8ot that is all stainless. Both are USA made. I have several other 8ot, and 34ot's bought at the same time that I haven't tested yet. I wonder if the guys at the Schrade forum would have a better idea of how wide spread this sort of thing was. Joe

Thanks very kindly Joe, this is very interesting to me.

Much Obliged,

I have one of these and the main blade actually says Carbon V USA on it , I reckon that would be a fine way of knowing its a carbon blade .
