I see it as negating one of the advantages that a box cutter has--the thin blade stock. That allows it to pass smoothly even through materials like cardboard or foam without hanging up due to energy loss from displacement of material. So you have essentially a folding box cutter that trades off ease of cut for a little extra blade length. In a word..."meh."
The problem is that you will be paying $hipping every time you dull your blade, and if Camillus goes out of business again then TigerSharp owners are SOL.
