I have a like new TL-29 Camillus "Electricians" knife that I would like to give away to someone who will use it. Its been setting around doing nothing long enough and is ready to come out of retirement. If you are interested and promise to use it I will send it your way. I will keep this simple..Post your response and I will pick from the order on Friday morning when I get up..

I was reading the Knife World story about Camillus and it got me thinking about a couple I have around that need to be put back in circulation.

Thanks and good luck..

Randy

What a cool deal, Randy. I hope who ever takes it can put it to real use. Very commendable! P.s. count me out...

Randy,
I can not use it, however, my father in law would. He is 72 and a persistent putterer. I think he would use it. He has carried an Old Timer the kids bought him for a while, But this would be a fun knife for him to receive.

If I am the one, I will send you a Camillus peanut to deal with next.

I told my wife about this while I was posting and she said, "plus, he was an electrician in the Air Force."
She is right. Papa was stationed in Korea from 1953 to 1954. He saw a very different Korea than I saw in 1988.

Well..looks like this is going to be a giveaway between two people..I guess not many people want a good user ..maybe I should have put giveaway in the title..

Randy,
I'd ask for it,to give to a good buddy electrician I know, but as it is,he's lost every knife I've given to him already.
Funny thing is,if I gave it to one of the guys on his crew,he'd guilt them,or break their horns, until they either gave it to him,or,he might take it,and then,he'd lose it anyhow ! He's a nut job! A wire nut job !

He buys those cheapo knives you see on tv,like 500 knives for $80,this way,he knows he can lose them wherever he goes.

Hi randy,
I work at a university and know an electrician who is a super guy. Several times he has come to my home and did work and then refused to pay. the best I could do was give him a bottle of crown.

he's a super guy and would love it.

take care,
Brett

Hi Randy, I could use it. I work as a controls tech. Use to carry one similar to that one when I was in the Navy. Thanks, Bob

Number 9 is the one. Brett your buddy will be getting the knife. PM me your mailing address and I will get it in the mail today. I go to school out in OKC about every other year..We should hook up and drink some of that Crown :).. Thanks for playing..

Great thread! I picked up a Craftsman electrician model at a recent CBKC meeting, only a couple bucks, and have put it through its paces. Great knife, Camillus made too!
