Camillus TL-29

I gave the knife to Papa last night and he just smiled the way he does when somehing makes him very happy. Thank you Randy. Check you mailbox in a few days ;)

Hi Randy,
I got the Cam Tl-29 yesterday and gave it to my buddy larry. he was so surprised and was really pleased. He said his pop had one when he did union work many moons ago. i thought he was gonna tear up!

Thanks for your generosity and best to you!

'Tis the season for giving. Sounds like those knives found their correct homes. Nice job, Randy.

Just want to say I think this is a neat idea. I've got a few knives that I'm giving away this year for Christmas because I'm not using them. Maybe I'll copy this idea after the new year.

I've got my grandfather's old Camillus TL29; WWII era; he had it with him during his 'Army of Occupation' days in Japan after the surrender. I wish that knife could talk . . .

3/7/2012: Edited to add - from the sixth picture in this thread, I think the one I have was made after 1946.

We know he had a knife like this with him, but I don't think it's this one.

thx - cpr
