hi, everyone.I have found this knife in my basememt.Can you help me whit identification, what period is this knife?thanks

It looks like a Pal 36 RH. It was used in WWII. The RH stands for Remington hunting. If you go on Ebay and enter Pal hunting knife you will probably find a few more. I've got one just like it. Whatever the steel is it is pretty good. Maybe somebody else can ID the steel?
