I picked up this knife and someone ground an X thru the cammillus name on the base of the blade anyone know why this is done, I belevie the knife was a one owner. it is in it's original plactic bag and box?

The "X" that is ground through the Camillus brand indicates that the knife is a second and has a minor imperfection. This is done at the factory on knives that have a minor problem such as a cracked handle. The knives that are sold as seconds do not have any warranty.

Tom do you think it is worth anything, also I have a lagre collection that I bought, would have any idea on the best way to have the collection appraised, I live in ct? thank you
