This is designed as all around carry with kitchen "potential"
Blade steel is Bohler M390 heat treated to 62 Rc. (as measured by another BF member with access to a scientific rockwell hardness tester)
This explains why the edges are holding so well, I was aiming for 60-61Rc
Blade is nice and thin @ .110 with a full height flat grind
Blade is 4" and 8.5" OAL
Hair popping edge out of the box, be very careful!
416SS Black Ox Hardened fasteners, scales are removable
Blade is tumbled to a stone-wash finish and ready to go to work.
Scales are inset about .020" from spine for more utility, resulting in a more cost effective tool
