Camouflage Blade

While there is some value to having camoflage gear to match one's uniform (and thus one's surroundings), I think the blade makes much less sense as it will either be folded and pocketed or sheathed.

Blacking out the blade to eliminate a reflection would have some merit.

For the civilian, I would most definitely prefer a non-camo blade as it is so easy to loose a knife.

^Yup. The way I see it, if your prey can spot your pocketed/sheathed knife then you're gonna' have a real rough time trying to bag anything! It only serves one purpose for a civilian, and that's to look cool until it gets lost. Even for military folks it would be of only very marginal benefit vs. a bead blasted or matte black finish.

I don't walk around the woods like a ninja/navy seal/death dealer taking out guards or blowing up ammo dumps. So no need to "hide" my blade from the "enemy". Just silly marketing to get rambo wannabes to buy the latest tacticool crap. I want knives that perform at tasks I actually use and need.
