I keep one of these in a day pack in my truck, always ready for an quick hike in the woods.
I forged this from a 1 inch bar of 1080, heat treated it to Rc 58-60 using a digitally controlled furnace. The 13 inch white ash handle is hand made and dyed to bring out the curl. Head is 6 1/2 inches long with a 3 inch cutting edge.
