Hello all , recently and finally finished this nice piece up . Now it is time to offer it up for your consideration .

It has a full height Flat grind with a hand sanded satin finish from 3/16 A-2 tool steel bar stock . Heat treated in my shop to a Rockwell hardness of 60-61 .

O.A.L is 8-3/4" , blade is 3-7/8" with a sharpened edge at 3-3/4" . Edge to spine width is 1-3/8"

Handled up in some premium Stabilized Buckeye Burl with Blue Liners . 2 - 3/16 mosaic pins and a center brass Corby bolt for greater handle retention .
Sheath is right hand carry 9 oz leather .

Incredible. How do you think the handle would hold up after dressing animals? I would use mainly as a hunting blade. Thank you.

Hello Jason , the handle should hold up fine as long as you don't go beat it on rocks to shake off the blood and hide .
