Heres a camp bowie made from W2 steel, clay quenched with a hamon. This knife won the WCKA Best Bowie award at the 2016 Kamloops show.
Curly Koa and tiger maple frame handle with a carbon fiber pin.
Nickel silver ferrule, and a copper spacer made from a 1916 British penny. The handle is proud of the spacers and bevelled for comfort.
SPECS:
Clay quenched W2 steel
OAL: 13-1/4"
Blade length: 7-1/4"
Blade width: 1-1/2″ at the heel
Blade: 1/8" with a tapered tang. Full flat grind, this thing is a slicing machine!
Sharpened to 20 dps
Comes with a hand stamped butterfly sheath.
