This knife is withdrawn. I will hang on to it.

Right on, I've been hoping you'd make a field knife size w/scales....does this have a thumb ramp, I can't really see the spine clearly.

It does have a thumb ramp. The pics are inside, and everything on the knife is kinda blacked out. It feels so great in the hand.

Thank you for sharing your knives with the forum. I've been following your work for a few months now and am really impressed by your transition from wrapped handles to real handle slabs. More power to you!

Hey Rolf, it may have a slight convex going on. The scotchbrite belts that I use are fairly aggressive and have some give to them. It's a flat grind, but that scotchbrite may round some things over very slightly. That's ok, helps with cutting performance. Lol.

@ karamvit - thanks a lot buddy. The handle scales are a really fun challenge for me. I'm having a lot of fun with color combinations, textures and shapes. It's like I started making knives all over again. I still love the Japanese stuff and will continue those (hey Rolf lol) but I want to further hone my skills with these handles. I'm learning new things all the time, and I'm glad that I've gotten comfortable at the grinder for a few years before I started them.
