camp - chopper comparison - opinion needed

you will not find a new dogfather.what you will find is a used one for around 200.

imo, instead of the dogfather i would go with a swamprat chopweiler for about the same price.the steel thay use is 52100 instead of scrapyards s7.the 52100 holds a much better edge in my opinion and the chopweiler chops like a beast.check it out.

Horn Dog: hard to beat a good machete? You sir have the RIGHT idea with that comment, and yes, an axe is much better for the heavy stuff. Climb aboard, you deserve a cup of hot coffee for posting the unadulterated truth.

wow that you so much cutter 17 that was exactly what I was looking for. That comp .knife looks like it handles great. Now I'll definitally have to buy one!! Seems like a hell of alot of knife for the ca$h

Yeah it is, matter of fact after watching and reading again I went ahead and placed my order for the Browning last night. At one time I was planning on the Entrek Bison/Ranger, but a second look at this one convinced me. Even though it is a Tawain built knife it seems to have the endorsment of Mr. Baker and Mr. Crowell, and I don't think they would put their names on a subpar product, at least I hipe not. I ordered from AG even though it was a little higher. I did so because I will now get all the knife catalogs that he puts out and they are the best catalog I have ever seen! they are definately worth the little higher cost.
