Camp/Hunter in Texas Ebony

This is another I finished the final touches on this weekend. It's a camp/hunter done in Texas Ebony.

The steel is 1/8" O1, tested at 60RC. The overall length is 9" and the blade is 4 1/2" from tip to handle, with 4 1/8" of that being cutting edge.

Price is SOLD $145 shipped to the US48 and that price includes a leather sheath, left or right handed. I'll make the sheath as soon as I hear from you.

It grows in south Texas and Mexico. The heartwood is described as dark reddish-brown tinged with purple. It is close grained, strong, is oily or waxy and very heavy.

It is noted for its strength and finishes naturally to a high natural lustre.

The white/yellowish portion is the sapwood.
