I am going to be in Connecticut all next week and won't be back till the 14th I hope this don't screw things up to bad. How long are we to use it before passing it on to the next person?

Hi Mat -

I think a week or so - more if you have things to do with it and post updates to the review etc.

The important thing is to get those pictures and impressions posted so Stomper sees the feedback, and so others here can see the knives and get info about them.

best regards -

I just walked into the house and sitting on the table was the familiar Norton box. I have to give an a first glance opinion, these are both amazing. The fit and finish is second to none. Plus they fell great in hand. This is going to be a fun evaluation.:D:D

Hi Mat -

Cool! I saw that they were delivered - 23 hours!

I used the same box that Stomper sent the C&K in.

How are you digging those custom sheaths? :D

best regards -

Whatever keeps the post man from stabbing himself, or herself, is OK by me.:D

Got the knives last night.

First impression: sheaths are awesome! Knives even better...Cooking: stay tuned.

O.K.! Rockywolf shipped the sisters to me on 7/7/10, and thanks Bud. I had to be out of town for a few days and I just got back home yesterday 7/13/10. The P.O. held my mail until today and the knives were in my mail. I have only unwrapped them, and haven't even had time to cut anything, and I'm already impressed! Nice job John! I can hardly wait to fix dinner this evening. It's BLT's with fresh home grown tomatoes from Indiana, and my own home grown lettuce. I'm fixin' fresh corn on the cob from Indiana too! Now that I have made all of you hungry, later guys!

Alright! I have had the set of C & K knives for about eleven days now and have enjoyed the use of them very much! Thanks again John! You did a bang-up job on that set!

Knock! Knock! JDS1, the knives will be on their way to you in tomorrows mail, so you should have them about Wednesday as close as I can figure. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have! I have cut about everything that I can think to cut around the kitchen and they have exceeded every other kitchen knife I have! I am using them one last time tonight to cut up a round steak for a dish I fix around here for dinner. When I have some time I will try to put that recipe on the favorites list. I have two different block knife sets that I use and they don't hold a candle to the JK's. I think the JK's would be a welcome set of knives in any kitchen. I guess that is about it for now.

Regards to everyone,
JK#36

Excellent jds1! Glad they made it without any problems! Hope you enjoy them as much as I did! I used to get mail first thing in the morning! Ha! Ha!

Regards,
JK#36
