Grind- Flat ground bevels with carved flats
Blade- 8 inch sharpened edge with machine finish
Scales- Black canvas micarta with red liners
Pins- 3/16 stainless
Sheath- Hand sewn RH sheath made from 10-12 ounce vegetable tanned leather.

Made to work this knife is razor sharp and ready for hard use. The sheath holds the blade securely, blade can be accessed by simply a vertical pull or you can unsnap the sheath and remove the knife from the rear of the sheath.

Nice work! Is the sheath using some kind of break away? Trying to understand the vertical pull note.
 
Simply was trying to say the knife could be removed like most are. With this sheath the back is left open about 2/3 of the length, (see stitching) if you unsnap the snap the knife can be tilted back and removed or put back in. Thanks for commenting.

Hey Jack, good to hear from you my friend. yea I've been doing some folders, also been doing some fixed blades but most were sold before I started them.

Whoooo that was too close Joe. Your Black Friday sale had me sweating that I needed an awesome chopper. :eek: Another great one by Joe Hoover. I would have invented things to chop with that one. Carve a turkey? Why no - as a matter of fact - Hooverize it with this...:D

Congrats to the new owner. Now go and Hooverize something :thumbup:
