Hello,
I have here a Camp Knife that is forged from 1084 tool steel. The guard is nickel and spacer material is red and white. The blade has a vertical grind, one I don't do often, to me it is more difficult.
The hidden tang goes 3/4 length into the curly maple. This is natural hard/dense curly maple.
The blade is bead blasted finish and shows the hardening line well. This sucker is as comfortable as it looks........ Definately one I would take to the field.
Measurements:
overall: 10"
Cutting: 4 5/8"
thickness: 3/16"
Handle to guard: 4 1/2"
widest at blade: 1 1/4"
Cost: $165.00 w/sheath and delivery inside USA.
