Hi Gang! Long time no see!
Note: My spine condition (stemming from a broken back several years ago) has declined so much over the last 6 months that this may well be one of the last knives that I post or make for that matter, for a long, long time. It is one that I posted last fall when nothing was selling on the forums so I figured I'd post again but at a considerably reduced price just to get it into the hands of someone that will use and appreciate it.
This is another of my "Parley" models in some nicely figured Desert Ironwood. The steel is O1 tool steel with an RC59/60 hardness, heat treated in house for durability and edge retention. The blade was hand sanded and polished to a semi-mirror finish. It has a nice distal taper up front and a tapered tang for great balance. The handle is contoured for control and comfort.
There are 8 hand made 1/8" Mosaic pins and 2, 3/32" with brass on the outside and 7 micro stainless steel (veterinary grade hypodermics) tubes inside. They are very classy up close. This one is also file worked from tip to tip with the vine and thorn design. Don't let the file work and fancier pins fool you - this one is ready for work (after you make your hunting buddies jealous).
She is a slicer - who will be right at home in deer camp or at your next BBQ.
SPECS
OAL: 11
Blade: 6 Flat Ground, semi-mirror finish for easy clean up.
Blade Steel: O1 tool steel ; 59-60 RC; little over 5/32 thick;tapered tang
File Work: Vine and Thorn, tip to tip
Handle: Beautifully figured Desert Ironwood
Guard: N/A
Pins: Qty 10, 1/8" Brass with Stainless steel inserts
Sheath: : 6-7oz Premium tooling leather by maker as shown
As you can see, there was a small inclusion on the top of the left hand scale that was exposed during shaping.
It's been sealed with cyanoacrylic (Zap a Gap) so it's nice and stable. Believe it or not, it's less obvious in person and it adds to the one of a kind character of this knife.
Since this picture was taken, I've added my makers mark on the belly here.
$225 includes sheath w/FREE Priority Shipping including insurance in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Overseas sales are very welcome but they must pay the exact shipping costs.

If you've ever wanted one of my knives, now is the time to get one. I'll be listing a Damascus and Elephant ivory
one shortly but that's the last two - like I said, until something changes with my back but it's not looking too good right now.
