Hello Bladeforums!!!
I'm Gene Pinault, I am Kiljoy KutLery.

kiljoykutleryemail@gmail.com.
I've been on BF since 06 and have been a hobby maker for 23 years.. (formally G3 Cutlery)
Circumstances have pushed me to start my second career as a full time maker sooner than planned.
I'm living in a remote rural location, and with a family member with cancer, teenagers and a great pack of furry family, I need to be here and keep the homestead functioning. SO, making knives it is!
A little about my knives..I use a grinder, files, stones and sandpaper..some machine marks are OK with me. Forge marks on my hand forged hunters are also OK with me.
IF you are NOT ok with a hand finish on a hard working tool, I am not the maker for you. I don't make the award winning knife at the show...I make the knives you run and grab if a zombie apocalypse happens at the knife show.
(I am making cleaner and cleaner knives..I probably don't need a disclaimer, but some people in the knife community, with a taste for the finer things in life have pointed out machine marks, and this knife has some machine marks..I am just a simple woodsman, that isn't remotely perfect, so..)
OK... The knife here.
7-5/8" blade. 1/4" 80Crv2. Antique Ivory and Black micarta handle. Stainless flared tube fasteners with long set epoxy. Proper soak and quench with 2 tempers at 400F for 2 hours.
Convex grind with a decent pointy tip.
Nice fat choil to choke up on. Good balance.
9oz. Hand stitched leather belt sheath.
A great camp brute.. ready for work.
If you don't like it, I will exchange, replace or refund...no hassles. Free sharpening for life if you cover shipping. Just reach out, email is above.
$SOLD
With fresh cold blue..(I can add or buff to your taste). This is the balance point.
