#9 in the bag. Just finished this camp knife for my brother. His birthday is today. 5.5" blade is 80CrV2, handle and bead are faux ivory. Tapered tang and hidden lanyard hole. Balances right at the finger scallop. Opinions welcomed.

Very nice. I am wondering if the handle is a little too narrow, but that could just be the way I'm seeing the photos and in any case it's all about personal preference - user comfort is king. The overall look is awesome and I especially like the attention to details like the handle palm swell and the hidden lanyard hole. I hope your brother realises and appreciates what he's looking at! :)

Thanks guys. Chris, I think it may just be the photos. I have big hands and the handle feels very comfortable to me. The blade is wide which may be making the handle look narrow.

I am pretty impressed with knife. Nice lines, beautiful tapered tang and I love the handle. Your brother will be a happy camper.

Damn nice knife, I too really like the hidden lanyard thing--the sheath work is also exquisite--did you make it as well. Your stitching is superlative!

Nice package, and a lucky brother!

Really, really nice. I can't believe you're only on number nine! I thought you had done many times that. Great job whatever the number.
